Who We are

About

Rebel DanceSport is a non-profit student organization dedicated to both competitive and social Ballroom Dancing. We host weekly group classes for our members, put on performances, have outings to social dance parties, and travel as a team to intercollegiate dance competitions.

Dance Coaches

Josh Manzano

Josh is in charge of teaching nightclub and social dance, including Salsa, Two Step, and West Coast Swing.

Josh started dancing with the University of Las Vegas Ballroom team, where he competed at the Championship level in intercollegiate competitions. Josh works at the UNLV, teaching in the dance and PhysEd department, and also works as a Registered Dance Movement Therapist, using mindfulness, movement, and music to safely navigate and release trauma.

Colin Williams

Colin is in charge of teaching International Ballroom and Latin, including Samba, Quickstep, and Paso Doble.

Colin has been teaching Ballroom and Latin dance for over 10 years. As a competitor he was a 3-time National Finalist in Ballroom and Latin 10-Dance, and a member of the US National Team. Colin is professionally certified by the ISTD and has judges dance competitions from New York to California. In 2022 he moved to Las Vegas and began coaching the UNLV Collegiate Dance Team.

President
Jordyn Kenton

Jordyn was born and raised in Las Vegas, and is majoring in Biological Science at UNLV. She has been with Rebel DanceSport since 2021.

Vice President
Angela Kabiling

As a med student, Angela works hard; as a dancer, Angela works even harder. Her favorite dance is Paso Doble, and she is always down for a dance.

Captain
Katherine "Kat" Klauditz

Born in Mexico, Kat grew up with sports such as gymnastics, and is a Kinesiology and Fine Arts major at UNLV. Kat fell in love with ballroom dance in 2022.

Treasurer
William Kenton

William started dancing in 2022 while working toward a degree in Engineering. In his free time he likes to watch sumo wrestling and cuddle his pet hamster.

Secretary
Jollina "Jojo" Jovillar

Jojo is an undergraduate at UNLV working towards a degree in Communication, and eventually is pursuing a career in the medical field. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, and having fun on the dance floor.

Faculty Advisor
Cynthia Mishlove

With over 20 years of experience in Ballroom Dancing, Cindy is thrilled to be an advisor to Rebel DanceSport. She works in the English Department at UNLV, but her heart lies in performing Theater Arts.
